Another baltic country this time baskeball nation of Lithuania. New unstamped and unwritten postcard, bought it when i was in visit in Kaunas. As you can see on postcard are two largest city's of country Vilnius also capital and Kaunas.

Lovely country with nice people, beautifull girls i must admit that, and great basketball players. Former Soviet country independent since 1990, but that's 2nd independency of country.

Trakai

Trakai, Lithuania 17-11-2010 

 A very nice postcard and first from this Baltic country, sent by Modesta from Vilnius.
As you can see it shows Trakai historic city and lake resort  about 30 km from capitol city. Trakai island Castle is a Gothic style castle constructed by Lithuanian Grand Dukes-Kestutis and Vytautas at end ov XIV century and first decade of 15th century.
