This square is in capitol of Turkey  Istanbul. Biggest and most populated city in Turkey today. but in big and long history  this city changed a lot of names and was capitol of more then one empires, like  Roman Empire, Byzantine , Latin and ottoman empire.The city was chosen as joint European Capital of Culture for 2010.
