Dublin capitol city of Ireland and also largest.t is officially known in Irish as Baile Átha Cliath, The English name comes from the Irish Dubh Linn meaning "black pool". It is located near the midpoint of Ireland's east coast, at the mouth of the River Liffey and at the centre of the Dublin Region. Originally founded as a Viking settlement, it evolved into the Kingdom of Dublin and became the island's primary city following the Norman invasion. Much more interesting informations about this beautiful city HERE
Back to postcard, on the left corner, The river Liffey, the Guinness brewing is the red brick factory in background, middle up is a Dublin Castle, then Grafton street , main shopping street south of the Liffey
The Custom house is on down left corner, then it's Molly Malone statue and on the last picture is Trinity College founded back in 1592.. Postcard is unwritten and unstamped arrived in envelope with two other cards from Ireland. tanks to Sinead once more .
