Maracas Bay
Maracas Bay, Trinidad And Tobago 21-6-2010
One of those exotic country's so postcard from that country must be exotic too. This is only card i received from Trinidad and Tobago and it's private swap. Trinidad and Tobago is an archipelagic state in the southern Caribbean, lying northeast of the South American country of Venezuela and south of Grenada in the Lesser Antilles. It shares maritime boundaries with other nations including Barbados to the northeast, Guyana to the southeast, and Venezuela to the south and west. If anyone is interested to read or to know more about T & T simply go to T&T wiki
On the postcard is Maracas Bay or Maracas Beach is a beach on the island of Trinidad. It is located on the north side of the island, an hour's mountainous drive from the capital city of Port of Spain. Unlike many of the northern beaches of Trinidad, Maracas Beach is protected by a deep bay. It is one of the most well known beaches in the island of Trinidad as its considered by some to be the most beautiful beach of its size located closest to the capital city.
Since Trinidad is so far away from my place, this postcard needed three stamps on back, here they are.
